I came to this brunch restaurant with my friends, and ordered a classic full English breakfast. It tasted delicious and I was very satisfied! We ask the waiter to help us take a group photo. He is also very enthusiastic!Food: 5/5
It‘s a lovely pink tea restaurant, suitable for girls. The girl in service is very cute and very good in the restaurant. Consider visiting again. It is definitely the largest brunch in Southampton.

A lovely end of school year treat for some very tired teaching assistants!! We all enjoyed a fantastic afternoon tea, beautifully presented and delicious. Our gluten free lady was really well catered for and enjoyed everything on offer. The staff were lovely and we all left feeling very full and happy. Will definitely be coming back. Halladays Tea Rooms is such a lovely place. The aesthetic is very pretty and invites you in the moment you get there. Such an amazing decor that gives it a cozy environment. I had a great time with my friend there. We went for Brunch at 11 am. It was quite busy but spaces were still available. Got really quiet for an hour between 12pm and 1pm giving us the window of opportunity to capture some great pictures of the place. The staff were so friendly, really appreciated their service. And the food was great too. Served in good portions and the price was decent. I had brown toast with fried eggs and a latte. My friend had brown toast with scrambled eggs with a latte but with oat milk. I would definitely recommend if you are looking for a place to hang out by yourself or in small groups. Great place for breakfast, brunch and similar. I will be looking forward to going back to try other items from the menu. Vegetarian options: Vegetarian and vegan options available. Dietary restrictions: Various kinds of milk such as oat milk, almond milk etc available.
Turned away when half the tables weren't even full. Apologies, I meant to edit this sooner - reminded by the reply. My daughter and I returned 40 minutes later advised 40 min wait at first attempt and we were seated. Food came very quickly once ordered so a bit surprised we couldn't have just sat and ordered the first time around. Either way, pleased with service from waiter and food was lovely, hence why I was keen to bring my daughter here in the first place. In response to owners reply, I was not told about kitchen issues. I was told there were other bookings and no space, and a 40 min to 1 hour wait, however there was only one "new" table of 2 when we returned. Overall lovely once we were seated but still a bit miffed that couldn't have just sat down and relaxed the first time around. Kid-friendliness: Good with my daughter, offered a kids size and it was discounted to reflect this
A very popular restaurant it was almost standing room only and the reason is the quality food. Quick service by professional staff. I opted for the full English and I was very impressed, the quality of the sausage, bacon and black pudding and poached eggs done to perfection. Well presented and piping hot. When you look at the breakfast menu it's very impressive. The couple next to us opted for the pancakes and fresh berries and cream it was a large dish and lm sure she didn't finish it , l would have struggled as I did with the full English. Excellent service food and value for money.
Afternoon tea set: £17 per person min two servings Can make a booking via phone call at least one day earlier. Warm and relaxed vibes, friendly service and tasty food. The salmon sandwich, scones and carrot cake were really nice.Food: 5/5
Came for breakfast, had the eggs Benedict and full English. Very good portion sizes, the afternoon tea looks STACKED, and likely worth the price. Recommend reserving in advance for afternoon tea, everything else is walk-in and first come first serve. The service was very good, the team interacted well with the punters and they seem to enjoy working together which makes the atmosphere all that nicer!
Lovely atmosphere and staff. I absolutely loved their hot chocolate with cream!!! However, it was uncomfortable to look around the room to read the menu off the walls and their lemon cake was very hard and dry. It didn't feel fresh.
