Checked opening times for my elderly mother so she could pick up her pension. We waited 15 minutes past opening time on Monday....no lights on inside, no activity, no sign on the door to inform customers. A couple of other confused and angry people were waiting too. It's a disgraceful way to treat your customers, Halifax, especially the elderly and vulnerable ones who have to make considerable effort to come in to a branch. You don't deserve 1 star - only gave that in order to be able to post this.
Had a review of my mortgage with the branch manager DDolby on 10.09, to shorten our mortgage, agreed changes, sent over the paperwork the next day, still waiting at 19.10, really disappointing and will be escalating to FInancial Ombudsman
Come on Halifax lets have some proper opening hours. There is a demand for real banking on the high street. It's not always possible to everything on line.
Any chance of extending your hours? Been trying to come all week. Queue out the door. Only one til open. If the tills too close why not reopen the third till you shut years ago. ? You have the demand but cannot keep up with the customers. Not the staffs fault needs head office getting involved. Other local clousers have brought more footfall.
Never open, your website gives incorrect actual opening times to the public. its ridiculous, and you don't even have a deposit machine outside to cover this.
What is the point in being there if you are never open? ! This has cost me in missed payments as well as fuel to get to another branch.
