Visited this branch this morning to make a deposit. The person on the desk was called Christine and she was the most miserable individual I've had the misfortune to be served by. No eye contact, no smile. She may of been having a bad day we all have them but having worked with the public for over 40 years you put a smile on your face and get on with it. Terrible
Came here today to sort an issue out for my elderly father. He unfortunately fell as he was entering the building and the security guard and staff were very helpful in helping me pick him up.There wasn't a queue so we were seen pretty quickly and the security guard brought a chair for my father. Previously came last month without an appointment and was able to see a mortgage advisor on the same day for some advice. Excellent service from staff who served me whenever I have visited this branch.
The call centre agents deliver very poor service. They hang up on you and are rude, audibly irate and seem sleepy, suddenly when I asked to speak to a supervisor they came to life and started helping, agent was talking over me, yhe previous agent hung up on me. Not recommended, I'm considering changing

Visited the branch today with no appointment at 15.30, waited 5min for the consultant and received the best customer service in a bank ever. Lady called Shade went out her way to help me, despite usually not dealing with this kind of problems and my initial request was to simply change my contact details. She could've easily said it not her job, so many thanks!
What happened to me in this bank in Picadelly Halifax is incredible the times I went I had to count them I went 11 times to create a bank account 5 times they sent me to look for a proof of where I live council tax national insure number how many people live at home that I have been in the UK for a long time looking for all these requirements and yesterday, July 13, 2023, the boy named luck tells me that he cannot open the account because the request I made online put the request abandoned but I explained to him that that was for all the time I had to go. and going back to the office carrying a document tells me to do it again and come back that I already have all the requirements to open an account That same day I left and went to Barclay and it turns out that at Barclay they opened my account in 10 minutes, to be exact, many Halifax for not helping me become your client.
Halifax as an overall is the worst bank ever. Don’t waste your time with them because that’s all they do to you!
I would avoid this bank at all costs. Useless as they come. Two times they made appointments to open a bank account and both of the times they cancelled the appointment, first time with no notification and the second time only 1h and a half before the time of the appointment on the same day. Useless bank, how much of a knowledge do you need to have someone “specialised” to open a bank account. Avoid like the plague and they can keep their accounts to themselves.
I opened an account last Sunday and I was having some problems understanding cashback. I visited the Manchester Piccadilly branch and was seen almost straight away even though there were a few people waiting. The staff I have spoken to so far are all very polite and professional. I am glad I opened an account with Halifax.
I book appointment on the phone with mr Ahmed Mr Ahmed told me Appointment will be on 26/07/2023 at 14.30 with mr Baggio I arrived to the bank for appointment at 14.15 don’t like be late I show women from customer service msg with appointment Lady was very nice and helpful I was waiting and waiting Finally at 15.00 I come back to the service desk and I ask how long I have to wait ? Man from customer service told don’t know So I ask him can I book appointment for different day he say I have to on the phone So I book holiday for that day just to sort out this appointment Appointment never happen spent 3 hours in the bank Mr Baggio and Halifax don’t care about customer at all !!!! I decided to change a bank And I want to TSB and that give you 200 £ For switch Bean so long with Halifax Bye bye Halifax Never again Halifax never again Lloyds same bank same shiet !!!
