I recently needed assistance with my next base dash cam, my local Halfords store is Pontefract, to which I was advised to purchase the wrong SD card, so after trying to work out this problem, I called the store, they replaced the wrong SD card, for a next base SD card,  but still the wrong one  but once again this still did not format to my dash cam.nnNightmare. And poor customer service.nnI was travelling over to Wakefield the same day and called into Halfords there, what a difference of customer service, Martin and Chelsea went above and beyond, not once but twice for me.nnVery happy with the service that I received here, and I wouldn’t hesitate to use Halfords Wakefield instead of Halfords Pontefract. To which I think they could learn a thing or two about how they approach their customers in Pontefract.nnBoth Martin and Chelsea in Halfords Wakefield, were very efficient and I will definitely call again when I need anything. Thank you so, so much. I appreciated all the help that you gave me.

Absolutely fantastic service from Daryl at Pontefract. Changed the brake light, then car wouldn't start, brought out jump starter and got us on our way. Was calm, knowledgeable, efficient and friendly the whole way through. Other members of staff also came out to see everything was going OK! 5 stars, will return next time for all our car needs.

Took my daughters bike in for a check in Pontefract last Saturday and was seen by Cam and Harvey. They were absolutely brilliant, went above and beyond, sorting out a problem with her bike. Offered some great advice and checked everything over to make sure it was all safe. Very happy with the service given and will go back again in future. Thanks guys!

I had an appointment to fit roof bars and box which I had paid for in store a few days earlier. The technician immediately stated it could not be fitted due to a glass roof. Very frustrating that I wasted valuable time and fuel today, the issue should have been advised on the first visit to store. To add insult to injury their systems are so poor it took nearly 30 minutes to process my refund.

In person service : 5 starsnCustomer support: 1 starnnI bought a car camera and scheduled it for fitting at this outlet. The appointment was at 11.30am that day. We were early and called in advance at 10.45am to ask if we could turn up earlier.nnBee - customer service officer told us that was fine and we proceeded to head down.nnUpon arrival, we were told by store staff that the customer support is in AFRICA and have no idea how the store is run. According to store staff this issue has been raised numerous times but nothing has been done. They do not have a store telephone so no accurate information can be provided unless one were to visit in person.nnWe waited for 30 minutes for the technician to arrive and then another 2 hours for the work to be done.nnThis is disappointing for a large chain like Halfords where numerous customers including those who have mobility issues rely on. Accurate information and intra-company communication need to be improved.
