The lady working in the Mobile section was the most helpful, knowledgeable and friendly person I have experienced. She was called Joanne and should be commended for her skills and expert knowledge and if anything should be training other members of staff in her expertise. Not only did she help me with a connection problem with my new mobile phone, bust she also served another 5 customers at the same time whilst dealing with me. Joanne should be rewarded in some way for her excellent customer service and patience. Well done Joanne.
Had to return a faulty kettle. The kettle was 2yrs old but i had purchased extra cover at same time,which had only cost me £9 to extend my guarantee to 3 years.The kettle is no longer stocked by Currys,infact the woman serving me said they no longer make that model. As i didn't like any of the kettles they now stock i was given a cash refund payed into my bank of £37.99 which is the price of the kettle when i bought it.Also i received the refund within 24 hours.So overall very good customer service from a very good multi-national company.
The staff at this store are 1 very un-knowledgable and 2 very disrespectful. Firstly, when I was sold the printer the colleague at the same store told me I could get a same day return, if not I could get my money back if I don’t find anything suitable in the store because I purchased an instant replacement on my printer. However, today I went in and first they said it will be sent for a repair despite having an instant replacement which means same day swap by the way the colleagues were Steve and Wendy. Matter of fact, I took it in and they didn’t even look at the printer and decided it needed to be sent for a repair??? didn’t even look at my receipt either???? How do these people work here? After looking at the receipt when they knew I had an instant replacement on the product, first thing they didn’t have it in stock and second thing, I didn’t want a HP printer anymore because I decided not to trust HP anymore brand loyalty is something too and wanted a full refund as that’s what the instant replacement is for but apparently no refund was available. Complete scam because it’s like I am bound in a contract and a slave to currys just to buy their products? What kind of business is this? I would rather buy from Amazon or elsewhere where I am certain I can get a refund at least? All the colleagues need training because when they’re selling it, they’re saying something else but when you go in because it’s faulty, they completely switch up. The colleagues were so competitive and argumentative and by the way @Currys Colleagues, saying ‘not to be disrespectful’ doesn’t mean you’re not being disrespectful. Very unprofessional behaviour.
My Husband called in with the intention of buying 2 mobile phones. As he entered a member of staff asked if they can help, he declined as he was not at the correct department yet. The shop was not busy or loud at all and as he walked through the store another 2 members of staff within earshot of the others again proceeded to ask if he needed help. As he approached the mobile phone section around 4 members of staff started walking towards him at the same time from all directions, as if he was going to ship lift one. Absolutely disgusting that if he had have been dressed in his usual attire this would not have happened but because he had worn tracksuit bottoms and a hoody he was followed with suspicion and treated like a criminal. Because of this He decided not to shop with yourselves and purchase elsewhere! Train your staff to read the room, Curry's are supposed to be helpful and friendly, not discriminatory. You have lost yourselves loyal customers as we will not shop with you again.
Obviously today's game is to walk up behind customers and shout, see how high they jump with fright, and then gather with the other staff later and see who has the highest score. I was accosted three times and leapt all three. Well done. Hope you all had a great laugh. Tossers.
Outstanding service, I'd been reading up on Laptop Vs Chromebook online....but actually being able to go in-store and get information and demos of both meant I left with a brand new Chromebook! Not sure if allowed to name names so I won't but the gentleman who helped me is an absolute asset to the team.
Called to purchase a toaster. Asked for assistance and young chap pointed out the one we liked. He then left my husband 76 to carry it,walking behind to pay desk. NOT impressed. I wish I had said something, NO courtesy.
Exceptional service. Brandon in the Pontefract Technical dept explained everything perfectly in a way that I could understand I am not IT savvy this was very much appreciated. He was very professional, approachable and friendly. Thank you Brandon for helping today.

Brilliant service by Chris on buying my new phone so helpful and patient nothing was too much trouble for him he is an asset to your company can't praise him enough
