Bought some culticura talcum powder today it was a large tin priced up at £4-20. Each, so I took 2 cans to the counter and she wanted to charge me just short of £10. So I said that's wrong, the price on the shelf was £4-20, she went to check, priced up wrong, but had to honour the price. Well done boots chemist..

After having problems with medichem I had my prescription sent to Boots Pontefract. I left it for a week to give them plenty of time. Called today and was informed it wasn't quite ready and would be about 20 minutes. It was one item! Took my prescription and went elsewhere. Useless! Won't go again.
Good service, and very knowledgeable staff
Visited the pharmacy to ask for something to see if it was in stock. Was waiting for around 10 minutes and several staff members walked by ignoring me. The lady who did eventually serve me was unhelpful and clearly not interested. Won't be visiting this store again.
Very bad experience with the pharmacist. I was reffered by NHS 111 to this pharmacy for my Blood pressure tablet. I was advised by the NHS 111 to ring the pharmacy before going there with no reply. I went there. The shop is not busy. I heard the telephone in the prescription counter going on and on and no one picking up. I saw this guy walking around the aisle. Since he has the store ID, I approached him regarding my NHS 111 referral. He was not happy that his attention was called, went in and checked his computer, only to tell me that he could not provide me with the medication. He said, wait for your GP appointment. I have to ring the NHS 111 again. Please, avoid this shop if you need prescription medication if you ran out during out of hours. Total waste of time.
I visited just after 5 pa. The shop was quiet at the end of the day but still tidy. It's a good time to go. The staff were still curious.
