On arrival at the parts department there was no one serving. I left the store because there were 2 other people also waiting to be served. I returned later when I got served straight away and the gentleman who served me was extremely helpful. It would have been useful to have had a service bell on the counter to ring if no one was there.
Halfords Taunton were brilliant today, they checked my car over for various faults relating to it not starting and fitted a battery at my request. Customer service was excellent despite being busy and they also got me a hefty discount after signing up to their premium membership which includes a free MOT each year so basically pays for it's self! Particular thanks to the older chap who fitted the battery for his help and the very polite and patient till assist with the orange hair - sorry did catch names
Today I called at the store in Taunton. One of the girls on the cash till offered to take me to the areas where the items were that I wanted. There was something else which she could not find so she took me to Tom. He was most helpful and resolved the problem. A week or two ago I called at the store and this time I dealt with Ollie who, again, was most helpful. It is clear to me that you have well trained, well mannered and helpful staff. I will continue to use Halfords.
Very good service and staff communication. I ordered a wiper blade for my collection on the Halfords web-site. Freya phoned me shortly afterwards to advise that they didn't have the exact one I'd ordered in stock, so they supplied me with an equivalent which was excellent.
I had some trouble with a battery I purchased 4 years ago that had a 5 year warranty. I took the battery in and Abbi went above and beyond to help me get it sorted. All the staff were helpful and friendly, and called to keep me up to date on progress. All in all I received excellent service and I will continue to buy my batteries from the Taunton store.
