Needed a replacement 12V car battery so I purchased one online using the vehicle registration. The website advised on correct fitment for my Ford focus so I ordered and chose the fitting option as well and booked the appointment. Arrived at store and was advised 45 minutes to fit so left car keys with staff.nUpon returning to collect car staff at the desk advised I had ordered the wrong battery but they had fitted the correct one instead. No contact made by staff in-store to advise and ask if it was okay to go ahead. I had to ask what battery had been fitted as the just handed me the car keys as far as they were concerned the job was completed. It turns out the battery they fitted was cheaper and one that the website advised is not the correct fitment for my car. The whole Halfords experience from the website to store was exceptionally poor and the customer service lacking. Will not be using Halfords again. Still waiting for a new invoice and refund for the difference.nnUpdate 17/2: Contacted by the Anitree branch manager to pop into the store to hopefully resolve issue. Will update again after visit to store tomorrow. Online customer support is pretty pointless even though my order was placed and paid for online. I was trying to avoid another trip back to the store and the waste of an hour, I only need the correct battery invoice to cover warranty and the refund owed but they have just pushed the issue back to the store manager to resolve.Have not heard back as of yet from online customer services to check or advise that the store manager will be in contact.nnUpdate 19/2: Issue resolved by the store manager who was exceptionally professional and customer service focused.

Went into the Aintree store today, looking for new bikes for my daughter and son. Mia came over to help us find a bike the right size and fit for both our kids. She was really friendly, extremely knowledgeable and professional and patient with both our kids. Not once did we feel pressured into making a purchase with Mia cheering the kids on as they test rode their bikes. Both kids found bikes they were comfy on and can't wait to get out on them. Mia is a credit to Halfords and we can't thank her enough

Not happy went in store used the inshore iPad to select the correct wiper blades for my mum car got home 1 blade was correct the other was to long so that works great [ NOT]nSo got to go back tomorrow to try and get it sorted

Had my personal plate taken off and original plates put on by a really nice and efficient lady at Halfords Aintree. All done from making new plates and putting them on my car by her very quickly. Thank you good job.

We cannot thank Ehbaad enough for his outstanding customer service today. He was incredibly helpful, patient, and took the time to offer great advice. Thanks to him, we found the perfect bike for our son. His dedication to ensuring we made the best choices made all the difference. Exceptional service like this is rare to find, and we truly appreciate his assistance.
