I cannot fault the staff at this store. They are always so genuinely helpful. Today, Mike helped me sort out an oil issue with my car. He was so kind and patiently explained what the issue was and how it could be resolved. His knowledge was vast and I was genuinely interested to learn from him. Nothing was too much trouble. First class service and everything very reasonably priced. Thank you Halfords, especially Mike. Cannot recommend you highly enough!

Mike fitted my new battery when my old one was not holding charge. Excellent knowledge explained everything very well. Professional and polite throughout. Weather was snowing and there was no issues with him helping! Highly recommend.

Visited Halfords Bodmin this weekend to purchase headlight, wipers and oil for my BMW. Staff member Sam was ever so helpful and knowledgeable regards the products. He fitted the parts quickly and efficiently but what was most pleasing was how polite he was. For a young lad he is a credit to himself and the branch, keep up the good work and the way you present yourself fella 10/10.

This branch of Halfords have the most amazing and helpful staff. I visited a month or so ago wanting advice on dash cams and received the most comprehensive help. The person advising me wasn't pushy but very helpful and even advised me to be aware that there were likely to be offers coming up at this time of year. He also explained the advantages of premium membership, but again not in a pushy way. Gosh was I pleased I listened, not only did the price of the upgrade reduce to £39.99 from £49.99 but also by waiting a short while I was able to take advantage of a reduction in the price of the dash cam bundle, which I think was around £70- bargain! On top of all that I am now entitled to a free MOT.nI had the dash cam fitted today at Bodmin and whilst I was already a big fan of that branch, the fitter turned me into a mega fan. He was expecting me, had all the paperwork and details, fitted the item swiftly and expertly. Because my car, Citroen Picasso has an extended windscreen it doesn't allow the wiring to the rear pass through the centre of the car, so it was wired along the side, all very discreetly. Afterwards he explained the ins and outs of the operation of the dash cam and said that if I had any queries or problems at all, just to pop in and he would help with them.nThese two Halfords employees are both to be congratulated on being great ambassadors for their Company and for customer service in general. Would that all service personnel were the same. Well done you two, I wish I had your names but I'm sure Halfords will know who you are. Thank you!

1. Ordered a battery on line using vehicle registration number and a fitting slot at 1800 10th Feb. Received email confirmation of booking and receipt. At 1445 on the fitting day, received a phone call that the store cannot fit the battery after 1515. I drove to Bodmin arriving at 1522 and the mechanic did start to fit the battery.n2. When the old battery was removed, I was informed that the battery I had ordered was the incorrect one despite it bring the recommended one according to the licence plate number. The correct one cost and additional £13.50 which I had to pay.n3. The experience was overall disappointing and caused me to rush to make the revised booking slot and cost me more than expected. The fitting service was fine and the mechanic did a good job so no complaints there. I am concerned that the online booking does not seem to interact with the fitting store and that the battery recommendation does not match the vehicle
