Brilliant customer service skills by the manager Jack. I’m a very nervous customer as I’ve been mucked around with KwikFit before, the senior technician Glenn was very honest with me from the start & knew exactly what he was talking about so I felt very confident with him working on my car. Whilst my car was getting worked on, as I had to wait, Aaron made me a cup of coffee which I thought was very comforting. Will definitley be returning, 100% recommend!!!

As far as MOT conducted efficiently. Resultant work (light bulb change) not completed to a good standard. One bulb (rear fog light) not changed, the other bulb ( stop/rear light) was put in upside down.

Few problems with wife’s car but sorted and never had to take out a mortgage. Helpful bunch Cheers Glen !!

Bought my car to this autocentre for a major service and tracking and to get fixed, £3000 in total. Ended up with my car being there for 2 weeks after being told every other day that it would be done. Got my car back the first time and it leaked loads of oil, took it back and was told it was the seal, would be done in a few days. Few days came and went the car still wasn't done and they hadn't even ordered the part! Got it back the 2nd time the tracking wasn't done both times after being told it was! it was STILL leaking oil everywhere, took it to Chelmsford halfords as it was UNSAFE to drive. Nearly a week later I got my car back only to have to take it to a DIFFERENT garage for them to tell me the wishbone and shock absorber is bent, when Halfords should have checked for it all in the service, paid £200 for a service that wasn't done right if done at all! So £3000 later and I've had to pay a DIFFERENT garage to correct this issue. The service at Halfords is appalling, the staff are unprofessional and under qualified to do the job. I have put in a formal complaint because I am disgusted at the work that was done and the time it took to complete. I Will never use another Halfords again and advise anyone who is thinking to to avoid them like the plague if you want your car in working order and actual mechanics who know what they're doing to do the job correctly. And this is only half of the story, I went to Halfords thinking they were a reputable company that I could trust but I was completely wrong and to be honest I wouldn't touch Halfords even with someone elses car I've lost my own money in this process as well totalling up to around 300 pound and that's on a lenient basis when dealing with customer services got a poxy 25 pound gift card to spend in Halfords but had the option to a 25% off next service like I would be using Halfords again anyway after all this has happened my case is still on going and will let everyone know the out come
