Unfortunately we don’t visit here very often, living in London. It is a fantastic farm shop, and always the highlight of my stay !nThe pork pies are the best I’ve ever had, full of meat with a little jelly !!
I've not been here in years as I don't live nearby anymore. Nice to see it's been extended, the kebabs are gorgeous; the rabbit & the burgers are yet to be devoured though I've no doubt they'll be as good. Don't be put off if the car park is busy or the queue is long, the til staff put Aldi to shame
We buy in bulk, enough meat for about eight weeks. Bought 8 sirloin steaks, amongst other things, about an inch and a half thick, absolutely superb quality and price. Can't fault Haighs.
This place is honestly the best farm shop i have been too in ages. Always plenty of fresh and frozen meats to choose from along with other items such as ice creams, frozen and fresh pies, cakes, biscuits plants and veggies + much much more. The staff are always super helpful and if you can't see what you want they are only too happy to help. It's accessibility friendly although there is a slight ramp going into the store through the veg section. A definite must go i travel from manchester once a month just to stock up the freezer on goodies
What a great find. A proper family run farm shop with great prices and absolutely amazing cakes !! Well stocked with pies and cakes and a very well stocked and priced Butchery ! We were visiting our daughter in Mirfield and had a quick visit but will be back to stock up again real soon. At last a proper farm shop.
