Visited for first time on Valentine's Day for special set-menu. Warm greeting from very friendly staff and manager on arrival. Lovely atmosphere and all three courses exceeded expectations. Keenly priced, also. Only minor criticism is that space is rather tight but I understand that's hard to avoid due to the layout. Overall experience was very positive and we will be back.

Good food. Reasonably priced. It's located brilliantly too. The steak is out of this world and they have home made bread worth trying. Staff are very attentive and wines are good too. Can accommodate large groups if needed and the kitchen is on show giving it a nice modern feel. Would recommend

Can not manage a large group. Worst service ever experienced. Seated late, hurried by the staff during the meal then asked for the table back twice in the 15 minutes before the table booking was up. Rude staff when challenged. Not offered tea/coffee/desert. Expected more when paying such inflated prices, my parents ordered the £62 steak. The food was delicious, but not worth the disgraceful service. Insincere apology and free processeco at the bar, but who wants to stay after experiencing that.

Can recommend sitting at the bar to watch your food being prepared. Stunning! Had the meatballs from the bar menu, fantastic taste and value. The IPA on tap is superb.

Great to go for food or for drinks. Slightly informal dinning at the bar, for a quick bite and drink, or a more full on dinning experience in the restaurant. All the staff are friendly and warm!
