If you are going to Mainyard Studios, Hackney wick is one of the stations nearby or you can walk over from Stratford Station. The staff at the station are nice and helpful. They helped me find the location when I got stuck.
Station looks nice, but the area smells of cannabis and littered with laughing gas canisters.
