The Downs is a a great local park, come to get your fix of winter sunshine! Made even better recently following Hackney Council's traffic calming Low Traffic Neighbourhood measures around the park.
Lots of wide open space. Great for people watching and big enough to ferl you are away from it all. Very good cafes to and from it. A nice thing to do is cut through Clapton pond and then on down to Masefield park and then on to the Lea Valley park .
Nice open park for a walk. Somewhat muddy along edges of paths due to all the rain, but still pleasant to walk round and enjoy the trees. Paths are shared with cyclists, so you have to be aware of that, if like me you can't hear them approaching from behind, but generally they seem to be aware of pedestrians.
A beautiful park! Good for sport- love a bit of frisbee. LOOK AT THOSE FIELDS.
A lovely park to walk during the day. I also do night walks and feel safe. There is kids playgroup- toilets and benches to sit.
I regularly jog in this park. Great outdoor space for family fun
All good there, have been playing football over 17 years
Great roast. Very limited beer options, it's more of a wine pub. Lovely atmosphere, great garden and dogs are allowed inside.
It's a nice park. It has green grass. Would recommend for a stroll
Spacious, Clean, had Fun playing in the playground area with my little Nephew, as well as getting my daily steps in - I did over 5K. Whoop Whoop!
