Like A Swiss Watch ... I wish everything in life was as easy as a visit to this lovely and dependable shop. Unassuming from the outside but full of warmth and excellence inside. This shop has beautiful jewellery and magnificent watches. I have been a customer for over 10 years and have received nothing but outstanding, speedy and reliable service. Really amazing service! Needed an emergency repair, walked into the shop late on a Friday and the jeweller did the work there and then. Incredibly reasonable price, no fuss and a perfect repair. They also have some beautiful pieces on show for sale. Would highly recommend.

My husband bought me a pendant he saw and liked in a shop window for a special day. Although he offered to pay the difference for a different chain model, the grumpy man oddly was not helpful-as he insisted on selling the pendant with a round box chain. Surprise surprise: The round box chain turned out to be defective. I asked my husband if he can take the faulty chain to the store and  his answer was "not really, the man who sold it to me is not someone either who would help or I would like to interact with again." Box chains are delicate and can easily bend or break at the joints if not handled carefully; this is a known fact. However, selling faulty goods, or palming off defective items to a man who is not an expert in faulty jewellery or would not expect to be sent out with a faulty item just because he shopped during a sale, making sure he feels unwelcomed unvalued as a customer up to the point he is hesitant to return the faulty item must be the most disgraceful point of business ethics. Make sure you don't make the mistake of shopping here without a magnifying glass, a very careful eye and someone knowledgeable in tow and ask to speak to someone senior if at any point someone makes you feel uncomfortable.

I have recently collected my engagement & eternity rings after having them resized & additional diamonds put into the eternity ring & I couldn't be happier with the exceptional service & workmanship I recieved. The jeweller I always used to go to closed down & I felt a bit lost as to where to go as I don't like chainstore jewellers & much prefer to go to independent ones, so was delighted to come across H Stain Ltd, especially as they're also so close to where I work. I have arthritis in my hands so my rings need to be sized far more regularly than normal & I will definitely be coming back each time they require future resizing. For anyone wanting a first class repair service I highly recommend this jeweller.

My diamond rings have been restored to the sparking fabulousssss as when I purchased them… A HUGE THANK YOU  TO MICHAEL - I will be bringing my diamond stubs and 2 other rings soon!
