A family run hotel situated in Llanfairpwllgwyngyll on the Isle of Anglesey.

Story

Welcome/ Croeso to the Gwesty Carreg Bran Hotel. We are a family run country hotel situated just off the Britannia Bridge(1 minute from the A55) in Llanfairpwllgwyngyll, Anglesey.

The Hotel prides itself on offering high standards of service, hospitality and cuisine.

We have 29 en-suite bedrooms. Our Afon Menai Restaurant caters for up to 70 people,and our Lounge bar and Piano bar serve great food and drink to guests as well as the public.

The Carreg Bran Hotel also has a large function room where we cater for various corporate conferences as well as large group/ family meals or christenings/ birthday parties.

Staff very friendly couldn't fault them. Food brilliant. Our room awful couldn't use the bathroom so dirty. Paint peeling off the ceiling. Bath panels hanging off. Mould round the bath. Had booked for 3 nights left after 1st night. Chairs in the room so dirty oh couldn't use them.As you can see the pictures of the bathroom we had are completely different to the pictures on the web site....

It's a basic hotel staff were very friendly food was very good service was good. Breakfast was continental and full English with a selection of cereal. My only complaint would be standard of cleaning could be improved. We had dirty cutlery and the rooms could be cleaned better. On the whole it was good value for money and would stay again.

Stayed here for 2 nights on a business trip. Friendly staff who were very helpful, food was nice and good sized portions. The building it's self is nice and bar area is recently refurbished. Room wise the decor is a little dated, biggest gripe was no desk. Travelling for work a desk to sit at and use laptop on is a must. Large car park which is good.

Arrived at the hotel to find someone else using the room we were assigned. We went back to the front desk and we were moved to another room after waiting 45 minutes. Our new room was dated and tiny. The carpet was stained and wall paper was peeling. There was a worm on the wall. The restaurant was extremely dirty with sticky tables and dead flies on the window sills. On the plus side the staff and patrons were very friendly. The food at dinner was good and our drinks were comped for the initial mix up at check in.

Room was clean and comfortable. Staff were very friendly and happy to help. Food was fantastic! Great location for exploring Anglesey.
