I came here to purchase menthol cigarettes. It was the manager who was serving me. When the brand I wanted wasn’t available, he told me “Silver, Mayfair have replaced green; they’re menthol”. I wasn’t aware of this not being true obviously. I smoked one when I left, and when I came back later with the pack, there was nothing but rudeness and aggressiveness. I did get a refund, but only after making it clear that this was malpractice, and after a lengthy conversation. He then told me that I wasn’t welcome when I was leaving .

Such a rude rude man. Refused to get my hermes parcel which had been delivered. Went on to serve about 8 more people while I waited. On asking him again for my parcel I was accused of being rude. Never will I go there again. Seems I'm not the only one with this issue. Best do a course in customer service you horrible little man .
The Sales Service person I know called "Dan" is Fantastic! His manors are impecible, and he treats everyone with a smile and couldn't be more accommodating!! However the Rude member of staff that thinks he's in charge day shift is terrible! Grunting /shouting at customers, and if you have a problem and ring he more than likely puts the phone down on you! He's the one bad egg in what is otherwise a nice garage. Somebody please teach him manors, service, because if it wasn't for Dan, my family wouldn't be coming in!
Rude and arrogant staff, more interested in checking their phones than helping customers. Several poor experiences here, but the latest visit will be the last! Even the fuel pumps also old and slow - Go elsewhere if you can.
How many people noticed recently that this station put their fuel prices up 7p per litre overnight when their competitors all had problems with supplies? I and several of my neighbours have decided that we won't be going there again. Even the other Shell Garage in Exeter Road didn't resort to such tactics. In addition, my other half has twice experienced problems when trying to collect a package for which she had received a delivery notice. In fact she's still owed one package which the staff member says she's already had!!
although 1 of the staff is nice and friendly the other is the opposite, we took a hermes parcel into this garage and got the ticket thrown at us, seems a shame to put himself out at all, his attitude stinks, the said parcel has also gone missing! despite having a tracking ticket it seems it never left the garage and after speaking to him on the phone he was totally disinterested. disappointed to say the least.
I experienced the worst customer service ever from the manager of this petrol station-twice. His colleague is very nice btw. The first time I was witness to somebody else on the receiving end trying to pick up his parcel. The second time, it was me on the receiving end and I have to say that is the last time I step foot in that place. He is purposely awkward, rude and unhelpful. Why Shell have not rectified this situation I do not know. I would advise anyone against using this stations services.
Very nice shop and the staff is so nice and polite a good place in exmouth to shop and fuel
For the times I've been there I'm pretty sure I've been over charged on certain items and I've never been given a receipt for the items he over charges, his attitude is appalling the impression I get when I walk in the shop is that he hates his job or he doesn't care enough if his attitude doesn't improve I will no longer shop in this garage
