This lovely little stop on the Brunel designed coastal railway deserves a mention. A great deal of public money was spent relaying the track along this line which is one of the most scenic routes in England. This stop offers easy access to the town of Dawlish with its famous black swans and gardens. At times of bad weather the train can be seen braving the spray from waves as it makes its way along the line here. Just up the track at the tunnel toward Teignmouth is a brilliantly executed Banksy like piece of wall art of a boy with a catapult.
