So I'm a noob to guitars, and the owner was such a gent. Ran me through things to look out for when buying a guitar electric what to avoid. Taught me about the terms used action, pick ups etc. He was always accommodating and respectful. The shop may be small and look a tad dusty. But its a gem...don't always judge a book by its cover. Now I have my first guitar, I will have no problems using this shop again. : Thanks for all your help and service!

DISCRIMINATION AT IT'S FINEST Walked in. Got asked if I had a mask even tho it hasn't been mandatory for weeks. I said no because even when it was mandatory I was exempt. The guy said "sorry you HAVE to wear a mask to come in" So i walked back out. There's hundreds of pounds in sales lost to your discrimination.

Well from the reviews I’ll not be attending this store. I suggest stop trying to be a Bobby and start fixing and selling guitars or life becomes expensive losing customers! ‍

Called in this shop on Saturday, to purchase a 3/4 acoustic padded bag for my 7 year old boy as he was starting guitar lessons at school on the Monday I took the blokes advice with the bag he sold me Saying it will fit even though it was an electric guitar bag Got home 15 mins later it didn’t fit Went back to the shop to exchange it and he had closed for the day Needing a bag for school on a Monday went into Wigan and purchased a correct fitting bag Rang the shop in the week to take it back and explain Then the owner became funny about it Went the same day after work to be told will you take a cheque My answer no I won’t I paid cash I want cash It would mean me going into Wigan paying parking and fuel costs on top My partner went the next day to return the bag Which he said he had sold loads off these to kids for their 3/4 guitars Then got a 3/4 guitar out the window to show her that it fitted It was like trying to get a size 22 woman in a size 8 dress with a zip up back  And still insisted he had sold hundreds This man no,s nothing and is probably still sat in his shop trying to get the guitar to fit it size 8 dress

Explained that I was exempt from wearing a mask due to a disability and the owner still discriminated and refused me entry.

Staff in serious need of a customer service course - absolutely disgusting attitudes and treatment of customers

Would anyone be able to tell me if this guitar shop does guitar repairs. I need my pickups changing, If they don't does anyone know where they do ?

Excellent independent shop with very friendly, professional advice. Recommended.
