Been here a few times in the past. Was amazing just for a visit and also when my friend had wedding photos here.
Went for a comedy night and thoroughly enjoyed being in this incredible building. Well worth a visit if you want to learn more about Leicester past.
Interesting, but some exhibits with no labels and others could be made greater use of. Lastly bits of modern furniture stored in odd corners detract from the historic context of the building. Building could be made greater historical use of.
nice place to visit but it seems slightly dated now i know its a museum but its still the same as i remember it 30 years ago
even though there were lots of children due to it being half term the tour and talk was interesting and any questions answered well. some games demonstrated and 4 samples of medieval tarts available to test. this built on a previous visit and I was very happy with Erica's presentation .
Great day out, lots of excellent space realated creative crafts to celebrate 50 years since Apollo 11.
We love The Guildhall and have to go for a walk around both this building and the Cathedral quarters each time we visit Leicester. Historic English cultured building whose soul is tangible - Shakespeare is reputed to have visited here.
An attractive and interesting historical site, but what makes it really excellent is going on a guided tour. If you can time your visit to join a tour, the very knowledgeable and enthusiastic guide will bring the place alive, as you step into surroundings previously visited by Shakespeare and Cromwell. Look out for the ghosts!
Attended a wedding here. A fantastic historic venue which was great.
