The worst customer service I have ever experienced. They told me they had contacted my references and were just waiting to hear back from the landlord - every time I called I was informed I would be 'called back in 5 minutes' and then never called back. After ONE MONTH they sent a text to say the land lord had chosen another tenant. I am not surprised as they never even contacted my work reference. As a single, self employed working mother of two, they didn't even give me a chance and tested me as though I was a cold caller. Fortunately I have found another estate agents who supported and helped me. They don't even care about their bad reviews. Unless you are a prime tenant then don't bother.

Contacted this branch several times about properties they have advertised for rent, no response to any query. Did call one time and got told the person that dealt with the property was on a training course and would get back to me, as I was giving my number they would cut me off whilst still saying my number - as if they weren’t actually taking a note of it. Not really a surprise that I never did get that call back and the property in question has now been taken off the website. Poor service, if possible tenants can’t even get a viewing I can’t imagine what it would be like renting from them.

Atrocious service. After enquiring about a viewing for several properties I recieved no reply after weeks. Even after deciding to go directly into the agency in Haddington they did not make any effort to contact me. They appear to be very lazy and unwilling to communicate.

Terrible Service.. After reading Facebook reviews I wish I avioded this company so much! Rented one of there property's and on entry it was as dirty as it could possibly be , including rubbish in hall cupboard and garage and lots of rubbish in the garden and shed! Not to mention dead mouse in the kitchen! GSB staff said oh we have mice in our house! REALLY! So that makes it acceptable then ... after waiting two weeks on a answer for them to cancel our lease they then said they would clean it and remove all the stains from the carpets as well as fix all the faults! We told them after all the hassle we have had and time waited we just wanted to cancel! There threat is we have a 6 month lease! Was told I will need a lawyer! No problem at my side , I also have a big story going into two local papers to back up my review so please take a look at these photos of the house they think is acceptable.. AVOID GSB AT ALL COSTS!

AVOID! At all cost! Do not use this serive as they act in a totally immoral and deceptive way. Unfortunately, property rental specialist in East Lothian are hard to come by and this company pretty much has the lion share of rental properties in the area. My experience of them was absolutely appalling. We viewed a property through GSB at the end of June 2015. We instantly knew it would suit our needs and made a full application. 1 week later we were told the property was ours and that we needed to give them a date of entry. I immediately accepted the offer and I contactedy current letting agent and was given a date. GSB asked if I could apply pressure to my existing landlord to get into my new property earlier. I did so and was able to get a date 1 week earlier. Then, without warning or justification, GSB, informed me that unless I could move in by 1st August, the house would no longer be ours. This effectively made me and my family potentially homeless. I complained in writing to the company. I asked 3 times who they were regulated by and they refused to give me an answer. (I have later discovered they are not regulated by any property redress scheme, which is appaing given the size of this organisation). I am still pursuing action against this company who ruined my family vacation and they refuse to admit any liability. I would seriously recommend against using this company.
