The flat that we rented for 27 days during August had no mobile phone reception. The land lady never mentioned this when we met or the fact that the bedroom window doesn't open. We paid a lot of money to be there. The bedroom was too hot to sleep in during August because the window wouldn't open and so my partner and I slept on the floor in the lounge. There was nowhere to dry our clothes and the washing machine hardly worked. Overall it was very, very poor service and we feel that we were misled or at the very least not told the information that we needed. i don't know anyone who would stay in a property without a mobile phone signal for nearly a month. I'm disgusted with the landlady and the people at Festival Lets, their astonishing arrogance and what seems to be a lack of concern about their customers. Seriously. Avoid if you can.

Avoid if possible. We've used this company for three years for festival lets. For the first two, it was just about acceptable but the third let was very difficult with unacceptable rudeness from the proprietor of Festival Flats (the other staff we spoke to were fine, just for the record).

I definitely wouldn't use Festival Flats again.
