I am writing this on behalf of my sister who has recently visited the surgery for the first time. I was communicating with the receptionist Jo, as my sister is profoundly deaf. Jo went above and beyond to accommodate my sisters requests due to her being hard of hearing. Communication via the surgery and my self was outstanding. My sisters first visit was a very pleasant one, all requests for the appointment were adhered to, making my sister at ease and comfortable throughout the appointment. Thank you to you all!
My own dentist retired recently leaving me in a situation of having no dentist. After leaving several messages on websites and answer machines I unexpectedly received a call from Greenfields dental practice offering my wife and I the opportunity to join the practice. On arrival of my first appointment I was immediately impressed by the professional and cheerful attitude of the receptionist who put both of us at ease. I was then greeted by Ethan Lucus and his dental nurse Jo. Both were bright and cheerful as well as being extremely professional. Ethan conducted a very comprehensive examination of my teeth and then set out a dental plan that would help me get my dental health back to an A1 condition. They thoroughly explained what was required and assured me of what the costs that one would expect to pay. I felt totally reassured by their gentle and professional approach. At no point was I subjected to any unnecessary hard sell of expensive treatments. They kept it simple and too the point. I can't express my gratitude enough, for the excellent experience I received at my first appointment at Greenfields dental practice. Thank you and well done to all of you involved.
I was appalled with the encounter I had with Dr Lucas at Greenfields dental surgery yesterday. I arrived to my appointment 5 minutes late as I have a newborn at home feeding on demand. When I arrive, the receptionist after speaking with the dentist, tells me I'm told I am too late and can't be seen. For some reason the appointment I had made 7 months prior, had been replaced with another dentist 5 minutes earlier than my original appointment time. I asked to speak to the dentist and explained to him that I was 5 minutes late due to nursing a fussing newborn at home and that I had made special arrangements for someone to take care of my baby to enable me to attend my appointment. He rudely refused to see me as he said it was unacceptable that I arrived 10 minutes late to my appointment. By this point I was close to tears given the lengths I had gone to all morning to plan to get out of the house in time. There were no other patients waiting to be seen and I was simply there for a quick post natal check up. The practice was due to close for lunch, which seems to be more important than seeing a desperate patient. Dr Lucas has zero compassion and a complete lack of professionalism. I have worked in healthcare for many years and would never treat a patient like this. Someone who does so, is clearly in the wrong profession. If I had any other option of a dentist in Shrewsbury, I would never return to this practice again. I will be making a formal complaint about this dentist and hope he can learn to improve the service for his patients in the future.
I'm so happy that I can attend Greenfields Dental Surgery as an NHS patient. The care I receive from the initial useful text to remind me about my appointment, to the moment I walk through the door when everyone from Di the receptionist to the lovely dentists and dental nurses are amazing. I'm so appreciative to receive this wonderful level of service. I'm only sorry I haven't thought to mention much sooner how impressive the people in your practice are, I've been with you a few years now. Well done & thank you, Ruth
I cannot fault Greenfields Dental surgery in any way. Diane the receptionist is such a charming and professional lady. Karen Hayes my hygienist, is amazing and so good at her job. My teeth always look sparkling when I leave.
So glad that we moved to Greenfields Dental Surgery, the staff are incredibly friendly and helpful, and we've had very positive experiences each time we've needed appointments. My daughter has needed extractions and has been treated with great care and professionalism.
The service we receive from Greenfields Dental Surgery is very good excellent in fact Deepa, Jo and Di and the whole team go above and beyond whilst working in a very busy, underfunded and very stretched service. Despite Deepa being extremely busy you never feel that you are being rushed, you are made to feel welcome and valued. Deepa is amazing with our son who has a very sensitive gag reflex and a fear of objects being put in his mouth and is very calming and relaxed despite her having many other patients to see. We are extremely lucky in this day and age to a have an NHS dentist b feel that we are given the care and treatment of a private service. We are one of the fortunate few that have access to an NHS dentist and we cannot recommend the whole team highly enough. We really are thankful for the hard work and passion that the whole team provide.
Always receive a first class service from Greenfields Dental Surgery from Reception through to the Dentist. Always put at ease and explanation given through each process. Nothing appears to be too much trouble. Thank you
The best practice I have ever used. Di on reception is so caring. My dentist Deepa always looks after me, and makes recommendations to help. I cannot praise them enough, they aren’t good they’re Exceptional
I'm a new patient and had a pleasant and professional first appointment. My issues were identified and will be dealt with shortly in the next visit. Nothing bad to say!
