A small but beautiful place to go. Spring or summer is the best time. The road leading to the place is rather narrow so do drive slowly. Enter the garden via the café, you might want to have a cup of tea of coffee at the tables in the garden. After explore the garden you can also walk around but not much to be seen.
Decided to visit the Sunday Market which I did enjoy. After having a sandwich and a coffee, which I really enjoyed. I decided to walk round the grounds. I was very impressed at how well they are kept. Some lovely plant's Definitely well worth a visit. Market day was busy, though.
Headed up thinking it was dog friendly after reading online. But, it was disappointing after making the drive all the way there, to find, they are not allowed into the garden. They are allowed indoors and outdoors in the food court area. Which is nice enough. Lots in the gardens cornered off at the moment. Maintenance perhaps. But still good for a day visit and if you are maybe local for something else. As doesn't take long. Provides restrooms, clean and tidy enough. Lost star on the doggy confusion. Got a great photo opportunity but. Shaded areas and umbrellas in the food area for hot days. Helped with the dogs and sitting out option.
Beautiful garden to visit and lively tearoom with very tasty eats.
Nice walled garden, a bit on the expensive side but my daughter had fun exploring and running around. There is a small cafe with in door and outdoor sitting. The market was on when we went so that was a bonus.
Lovely garden and cafe ideal for a peaceful walk or just somewhere to go and sit. On-site cafe was nice but coffee and cake could have been better. The kids loved the garden hissing and running in the open area. There was even some connect 4 games setup for the kids. There was also plants from the garden on sale within the courtyard of the cafe. Playground: Open grassed garden with bushes to hide behind and play around. Normally games setup on the lawn during warmer days. Restrooms: Restrooms are clean and well maintained. Located in courtyard Dog-friendliness: We saw many dogs whilst we were there including within the cafe so very much friendly for well behaved dogs Picnic area: Garden would be a nice location to site and have a picnic it would be quiet and there are benches located around as well.
Lovely location. Ideal for a short visit. Little specialist areas within the garden enclosed with hedges. Good cafe and there are plant sales too. Note dogs aren't allowed within the walled gardens however the woodland area surrounding the garden is fine.
It's such a beautiful place to visit well worth it .. staff are so friendly and helpful, definitely going back
Small but beautiful garden. There's a fascinating wall garden and 'wildlife' territory outside the walls where you can bring your dog. There's a free parking, a coffee shop and a public toilet beside it. I wish you a pleasant journey .
There is small fee to enter the Garden , overall it a beautiful small Garden . Playground: No there is no playground , Restrooms: There is no special rest room but a small cafe is there Dog-friendliness: Yes it is dog friendly place Picnic area: Yes it great for picnic
