The Lordship

About

We are an independently owned pub with a passion for great food & service! Book a table in our spacious dining room or book an event in our function room!

Story

The owners of The Brown Dog Pub in Barnes (SW13) & The Easton Pub in Clerkenwell (WC1) are proud to bring you their latest venture The Lordship Pub in East Dulwich (SE22), situated at the southern end of Lordship Lane a few hundred yards from William Rose the butcher & the recently opened East Dulwich Picture House.

Our menu evolves with the seasons & features hearty homemade dishes. We pride ourselves on using only reputable suppliers so we can trace the origins of our food, & do our best to buy British & source local produce where possible. We have developed our wine list to compliment our food, & keeping up with current trends we have an ever changing list of craft beers to match with our menu or enjoy on their own.

We welcome party bookings for casual drinks & snacks, or you can enjoy lunch & dinner for small or large groups. We have been dubbed “the best Sunday lunch in Dulwich” by some of our regulars!

Our first floor function room with a fully serviced bar is available for private hire for any occasion, whether it be a class of some description during a week day, a Christening or kids party on a weekend lunch, or a celebration or social gathering in the evening.

During the summer months why not relax in our back garden with friends where, weather permitting, we will be offering hog roasts, BBQ’s etc! We have a large unused barn in our back garden where we have plans to develop it into an outside bar/function room – watch this space!

Came down for lunch on Tuesday with my pal and sat in the lovely garden in some much needed shade. Lovely friendly staff and a well thought out delicious menu. We had a great time. Definitely coming back.
Love going to the Lordship. Food is delicious particularly for meat-eaters - I recommend the flat iron steak; for non-meat-eaters, the goat's cheese starter is excellent, the staff are really friendly, and they go out of their way to make it a nice night for you. My favourite local, hope to continue to visit for a long time to come.
Good food good drink, good value, and the staff is friendly and accommodating. The pub is also decorated very well and has modern decor very different from the other pubs in the area.
Delicous food and amazing service - best place to go on lordship lane! Despite the pub being really busy the food was fantastic and all the staff were so friendly and couldn’t have done any more to make our evening. Thank you everyone at The Lordship - see you all again soon!
