Lots to say about gosling. Recently undergone an overhaul and looks very good so far in the areas I have seen. The spa is very good and has an excellent panoramic view of the more greener parts of the premises. The pool is always at the optimal temperature for a spa, it must be at least 25 degrees or more and creates the prime humidity in the gaff. Only reason I haven’t given it 5 stars is because the cleanliness of the showers and the changing rooms really lets things down massive lime scale build up on the floor and the showers them selves. I can’t lie I often wonder why, considering they’ve spent untold dough on the rest of it and they’re cleaning contract is worth 80k per annum. The state of the showers and the carpet remains the way it is... alas maybe we shall never know, unless “better” read this review. 🤔🤔

The Gosling sports centre has made some good improvements to the Gym but the swimming pool and changing area are requiring repairs. The female shower area is mouldy, paint peeling off, hair on the floor and dirty grout. The sink in the disabled bathroom is hanging off the wall. The pool needs a good clean and some small tiles are missing. Generally the repairs pool side have been done poorly and there isn’t a good shower after you have been in the sauna or steam room. We attending the Spa pool for some relaxation today. We left our towels and toilet bag on a lounger. Whilst we were in the pool another person took both of our towels used them and left them in the male changing room! My mobile was inside my towel which was dropped onto the tiled floor and left. The screen is now cracked. Another pool user told me he had picked my phone up and put it back on the chair. Not a relaxing visit. Not sure I will ever want to use my towel again as I don’t know whose bits and bobs have been on it! Why take someone else’s towel they both had very distinguishing patterns and my toiletries were on top. Definitely not a mistaken identity just a very selfish man. They do not have a secure barrier working so anyone can walk into the pool and gym area at present. Another member told me that this isn’t the first time towels have been taken from poolside! Is there a serial towel thief?

I made a booking though needed to understand if I could change the time, as I booked a day by mistake. I called 23 times over a period of 1 hour with no reply, during opening times. I think they need to staff their reception desk. If you have a problem, I wouldn't bank on them being on hand to help you.

Hired a badminton court and it's great value, free racquet and shuttlecock hire too, friendly staff and nice location
