Exceptional place to relax, charge your batteries and/or celebrate! The staff is always helpful and polite. The food is delicious regardless the price - which is always fair for everything! A true gem in Bedford and top location! Highly recommended 10/10 Kids friendly / pet friendly and lovely overall atmosphere. Clover on Guinness Recommended!
We had a family gathering in the back garden last Saturday the 14th of May and would like to thank the management in allowing us to reserve some seats and tables outside as we had a fairly large group. This place has recently undergone a full refurb and is bright and welcoming. Friendly staff, good menu choices and is reasonably priced. We asked one of the staff members towards the end of the night to take a group picture of us all, and he was more than happy to help. Overall experience was positive and we will endeavour to visit again. Highly recommend this place.
Our Monday pub excursion was to the Gordon Arms, a Charles Wells establishment. This was a old haunt of ours some years ago. A 4.6% Pravha pilsner was today's choice and was a good decision! Food was good but a little pricey. Pub was named after the Gordon Highlanders a Scottish Regiment. The pub also has an entertainment venue, which has regular tribute band appearances. A very friendly barman/ Manager
First time visit as we've recently moved to Bedford. We've tried a few Sunday roasts in the area and have been searching for somewhere to take family in a few weeks time Pros - food flavour was excellent and the beer was really nice. Excellent staff too. Cons - both meals could have been a few degrees warmer. We were offered the option to have our meals replaced but we hate food waste so opted to eat what had been served. Will we be back with family? Maybe not but we'll certainly give it another go sometime.
I would 100% recommend a visit to all my friends and family. The staff have gone above and beyond to make sure we are happy with our food and keeping our drinks nicely topped up. The menu looks fabulous with a great selection of food that was delicious, to make it better we had a short wait! Atmosphere buzzing..we had a great time. Thank you!
The Gordon Arms / Ent Shed Team excelled themselves for our wedding. The Ent Shed was ideal for our reception and the 55 yes, 55! pizzas we ordered were delicious. The perfect end to a perfect day. Thank you Ent Shed / Gordon Arms.
Since reopening under new management, this has become my favourite place to go for casual drinks and food. Their pizza’s are unrivalled and the selection on tap is fantastic. Recommend to anyone!

We’ve made this a regular spot, great to have a decent local that does fantastic food too! The pizzas are phenomenal, the shroom & Toni are our favs, but we’ve tried them all & yet to be disappointed! Always great service & atmosphere to top it off, thank you :
I had a brilliant birthday party in the Ent Shed with 45 guests. Great space for socialising, eating and dancing. The food was fantastic pizzas, buffalo wings, salad, macaroni cheese, hummus sharing platter and they catered for gluten free and veggie. I hired a DJ who provided music and lights and I organised the tables, decorations and cakes. The staff are friendly and helpful and kept the food coming and clearing away.
