We visited today 3/08/24 around 1/2pm and came in to purchase an omega sea master. Upon entering we immediately spotted a man and woman at the desks both rapidly texting on their phones, they couldn’t have been less interested if they tried. After looking at the sea masters my husband had his heart set on purchasing but we noticed still after 10 minutes of looking these two employees didn’t look up once and was infact still texting away at their phones, they didn’t even know we was there. We decided to leave and infact purchased a lovely watch from a much more helpful shop down the road who provided us excellent service. I hope a manager will see this and review cctv and see us walking out, if we had been greeted and the woman got off her social media we would’ve happily purchased today.
The team in this particular Goldsmiths are very warm welcoming they are good at what they do and go above and beyond me and my family came in to view a couple of watches and this business looked after my kids and my wife we had one member Avin who took time into getting to know my kids with special needs and did an absolute beautiful job while me and my wife were going through watches with Dee i believe her name was and they was patient with my kids in the store and with my self in making a decision thank you very much.
Absolutely wonderful service from Goldsmiths Solihull. After a poor online service, these guys really restored my faith in Goldsmiths. Perfect customer service, beautiful showroom and jewellery. Dee is amazing, incredibly accommodating and knowledgeable. Connor is fantastic too, super helpful. Thank you for such a great in store experience.
I visited the Touchwood store on Monday 12th August at some time in the afternoon to look at purchasing a necklace for a present. I have shopped at other stores and Solihull is relatively new so thought I’d visit there. I was completely ignored for about 10 mins , the 2 members of staff were with other customers but didn’t acknowledge me at all. In the end I apologised for interrupting and asked if I needed an appointment? I was told no . I was then asked what I was purchasing and the price!!! It wasn’t a significant purchase on this occasion, maybe that was the issue . I was told to take a seat. After approx another 10 mins other of being ignored other customers came in , a sales assistant appeared from the back and went to the customers who had arrived within a minute . I know that they will have significant CCTV and would have seen me in the store without any acknowledgment at all and ignored over another customer. I left the store, really disappointed and have sourced another retailer. I will definitely not be going back to any of their other stores again.
I had a fantastic experience at Solihull Goldsmith! Mikaela, Avin, and Ben provided phenomenal service and were very supportive in adjusting my watch. Highly recommend to family and friends!

What a fantastic welcoming store! After searching many jewellery shops we finally made our decision to buy from Goldsmiths Solihull. Fantastic knowledgeable friendly staff who genuinely cared about our whole buying experience. Huge thanks to Sam and Sam who made us feel very welcome yesterday and went over and above to help us. The products, customer service and our overall experience was outstanding. 10/10.
We went to collect an online order, and we were not treated in a professional manner. When viewing the earrings we were not happy with the size, and were questioned in a stand offish manner about our reasonings behind this. We asked if we could look at a smaller size for comparison and we were told they were not in the shop currently to buy. There was no help when we wanted to look at other items in the store. We noticed there was the smaller size of the same earring on display and surprised we were not shown them by the staff. We subsequently took our business somewhere else - Fraser Hart, in touchwood, and were treated respectfully.
From start to finish, Guy at goldsmiths touchwood has been brilliant. From helping us choose our wedding rings to ordering them, he made it all very simple. We picked them up yesterday and are over the moon with them! One more month to go, we can’t wait to wear them!
A big thanks the team at Goldsmiths Solihull. Honestly the best service received when looking to purchase an Omega watch. I got the best of both knowledge and warm service from the team who tried to assist and advise in every way, especially Avin who was incredibly attentive to what i was looking for. Highly recommend this seller!
