attracted by awesome pics of dishes, road side tables with glass windows and awning, we decided to have 1 English b/f of standard portion and 1 veggie. They were great. Main ticks: good portion that we took away bread and bacons and didn't have lunch that day, good price, warm hospitality. Here is the reason I would visit again - the cha latte. I had this firstly in Taiwan 10 years ago and several thereafter. This one is the best, though I would ask for half sugar next time.
This was my local cafe when I was at university years ago and I have so many great memories here with all of my friends. Today I walked in after not having visited for about five years - I was instantly recognised and treated to the kindest, friendliest service ! It made my day ! Really well priced delicious food and great coffee - amazing outdoor seating area to enjoy the sun while you eat. I can’t recommend this place highly enough !

The BEST chai latte I've ever had, nowhere does it as nice as here and unfortunately I don't live in the area otherwise I would be here all the time. Breakfast is lovely too
My favourite cafe in the area. Coffee is always nice and pretty looking in the cup. and the food is always delicious lots of it n so tasty iwth salad. try the omelette. mmm. staff so nice. love this cafe :_
Service is slow at this cafe, unfortunately. As it is right opposite the university it is often very busy so best time to visit during main lectures. The owner is a very nice man. The rest of the staff wax and wane dependant on their customer service experience. The food is very good especially as the prices are competitive for the area. Also you get a lot of food for your money.
Ordered breakfast today as cafe was rated 4.8 on Uber eats! How I don’t know? Worst breakfast ever! Sausage cheap and horrid! Poached eggs way over done mushrooms vile and coffee was like water! What an insult for over a tenner in price ! Never again!
I am a local in New Cross and LOVE going to Goldsmiths Café. The staff are always friendly and so welcoming. The food is very good and the coffee is amazing! The place is always very clean. Would definitely recommend this place for a cheap and cheerful breakfast, lunch or supper! They now stay open until 9pm :D
staff is really nice, there's a good range of options here at affordable prices. They offer breakfast, lunch and dinner meals. The seating at the cafe is really nice, there's a lot of it and outside seating as well if you want to have a smoke. Would highly recommend this joint
Lovely place. Been there for 50 plus years. Family owned business. Enjoyed the all day breakfast there. Lovely seating area outside and good costumer service. No card payments, fyi
