Fish was cooked fresh and still seemed soaked in oil, Chips were Chinese style and was very think and nice. Overall good experience staff were very nice and talkative. And have a nice inside area to eat inside.
This isn't really a review but if this is the samegolden fish bar that used to be situated near bexly library in Thamesmead over the bridge, before the flat blocks were torn down, back in about 2011/2012, then you had THE BEST chicken wraps and burgars ice ever eaten from any chicken and chip shop. I was so sad when they tore down the housing blocks and u had moved locations because no other shop could come close to your chicken. When I come back to England this is the first place I'm stopping by!

Always wait 10 minutes for it to be freshly cooked. Cod Chips Curry sauce and Mushy peas for 2. Perfect .

Outdated and not attractive at all. Very daint and dismal place, id be scared to have a look in the fridges in the back. Had once in the last 10 years of living here - says alot.
The fish was slimy and yellow and I got like 9 chips I no Couse I counted them the price for my meal which was 4 order's of fish and chips was £22.40 which was £5.60 for each which was bloody expensive for a extra large battered fish finger and 9 chips. Bloody joke.
Run by a sweet little old dear. Food was fresh and tasty. Incredibly cheap. Do come support these hardworking pleasant people and enjoy some tasty food.
Awful. Did not drain chips or fish. Drenched in grease right through the paper, and it was dripping! Basically inedible. Chips soggy, fish quality below average. £7.50 wasted. Avoid
Good quality fish and chips local in the area perfect for after football matches.
