Often change prices when one's disengaged, food is oily, chicken tastes over salted, sometimes soggy too, really was a great place, previous management, now just an awkward embarrassment. Sorry.
The pictures really do not do the food justice. Although the chips were just average, the cod was the best I've ever had from a fish and chip restaurant. It must have been twice-fried because it was exceptionally crispy. I can still remember the crunch of the delicious batter when I look at this photo...
Used to be my favourite chippy, now under new management and have been for a few years. Still really good food just chicken is dry most of the time and the seasoning has changed.
Excellent bar to dine in or to grab a take away. Food is always fresh and excellent quality.
Been here twice. Fish has been good, chips have been great. Staff can seem grumpy but are ok if you say hello and have a bit of conversation with them.
Varies between good and terrible. Have been going here for years, but time to stop. The bad days outnumber the good. Often serve fish that's been cooked and sitting around long enough to go hard and chewy. Shame. Nice guys.
They are lucky to be the only fish and chips shop in the area. Fish batter is always soggy, never cooked to order. Chips are usually decent, but today they were terrible, undercooked. I probably won't come back.
