The lady working at the shop was really helpful and knowledgeable about the specific yarn i was going to buy and how to make it more suitable for knitting socks. If I come to Glasgow again I will definitely be making a trip back to this cute shop :
The shop owner was very knowledgeable about her business - she went out of her way to find what I was looking for and took no end of trouble . She was very friendly and I will definitely go back to this shop .
I only needed a darning needle, however now that I know where this shop is, I will definitely be back. So many buttons and ribbons and the most beautiful selection of fabric and wool.
Beautiful shop, what a discovery. Such beautiful fabrics. Everything is of the best quality. The fabric / thread /wool and trimmings all excellent. The staff were amazing and very helful. So glad I found it. Definitely be back
Discrepancy over payments that may or may not have gone through when there were issues at the shop. Called when I got home. Didn't seek blame nor wanted it - just asked to resolve the issue. The woman shouted over me every time I tried to talk, was so unhelpful. Issue not resolved then she had the temerity to say I was rude and loud the last time I was in her shop because I got chatting to one of the customers! I was just chatting to someone about knitting! And apparently was to not go back to her shop! Unbelievable. Go elsewhere ..or take cash only. Really unpleasant woman and I'm expecting a denial post to bounce back from this review. Would give no stars if I could.
Absolutely shocking, never open. The last three times I’ve went and I’ve only been once, the shop has been closed. Even when I called ahead yesterday asking if today the shop would be open, the answer being yes, it was closed. And yes I did check all the open hours provided on the website. Now I’m always second guessing myself wether I should buy there or not, they have some good fabrics and a lot of threads, the shop itself is good, just the actual running times of the shop has to be corrected.
Super helpful - I'm just starting to learn to sew, using a very old Singer sewing machine, and the woman working there was so helpful in telling me how to care for my machine and suggesting projects to start practising on. She even suggested I buy a less expensive thread for practice as I'd picked up a high-quality thread at first. A small shop, but reasonable prices and very helpful people there.
Really lovely fabric shop. The owner was so helpful and welcoming. A great selection of different fabrics. Found the perfect fabric for a project I'd been looking for
Please update your opening hours! Just travelled to the store for an hour with a newborn baby to find a shop closed at 5.05 when it's supposed to shut at 5.30pm. Not cool.
Good selection of fabric, silks and other accessories like buttons and tools. Buttons a bit difficult to get out of the rack, but you need to persevere.
