This is the best place to get your yarns , wools and knitting supplies . I had the chance to chat with Zoe the owner, and she was super friendly she helped me find and pick what I was looking for . Prices are very competitive and often cheaper than else where
This is my favourite Glasgow yarn shop. It has a unique selection of the best quality yarns, and Zoe is helpful and knowledgable about every single brand she stocks. There are also beautiful buttons, knitting accessories and equipment, kits and patterns. Even the decor is beautiful, the shop is decorated with amazing knitting samples and needle felted creations. It's well worth the five minute walk from the city centre into the historical east end to visit this gem of a shop.
Very sweet little yarn store with nice staff. It's a very small space though with a limited selection of yarn. If you're looking for something in particular I wouldn't recommend it. But if you're just browsing or would like some of their lovely hand dyed yarn this is a good place to visit.
Great shop with excellent hand-dyed yarn and a curated selection of other brands. The owner is friendly, helpful and knowledgeable and she's often helping customers: I've found her willing to discuss patterns and techniques, properties of different yarns, all to offer a highly personal experience.
My kind of yarn shop! Very friendly and helpful, and gorgeous yarns that are a bit different from what you find at every other yarn shop in town. The atmosphere is wonderfully relaxed and I enjoyed rummaging around in all the cubby holes and baskets and ended up buying some beautiful yarn when I'd just gone in for a browse. I'm so happy to have found my "go to" shop for future knitting projects. I will definitely be back soon!
Lovely little yarn shop. Nice range of stock, including exclusive brands. Not too much in the way of needles but some, cute stitch markers and also stocks a good range of spinning / felting fibres. Recommended.
This is the place to be if your looking for yarns and knitting stuff / patterns and felting and spinning supplies . You might wonna check out their exclusive beautiful selection of natural wool hand dyed yarns , you will find them no where else and the pricing is so reasonable . they do also held Knitting classes for beginners and professionals in late spring to autumn , lots of ideas their so inspiring . This totally love that place and highly recommend
Happy knitting! Excellent - knowledgeable, friendly owner Zoe who have a great unique selection of hand dyed natural wool yarns. Her shop is located in one of the greatest place in Glasgow Salt Market Originally named Waulcergait, the area was associated with wool production, in particular the fulling Scots waulking of the cloth. Over all you will find all your knitting needs .highly recommended :D
Was overjoyed to find this place had popped up in this location after I'd been away from Glasgow a few years! Super convenient if you're in town no trekking out to the West End, and a stone's throw from both shopping and the Green, Queen of Purls is a real local gem. The adorable boutique boasts not only a wide selection of natural yarns and knitting/crochet accessories, but also plenty of hand-dyed wool tops and felting kits, as well as buttons, findings, and the latest popular books and magazines. You can browse an afternoon away here in the calm and cozy surroundings, and Zoe the vastly qualified owner is always on hand to make suggestions if you need. This is easily the best yarn shop around, and her prices are very competitive. The mail order service is also superlative - VERY efficient. Long may she reign! Side note: I hope the grotty bridal shop next door shuts down soon so QoP can expand into a cafe and workshop space
Great service! Lovely selection of hand dyed yarn, natural British wool and good value Drops. I was amazed by the selection of spinning fibre too. Inspiring displays. Lots of ideas there! I could have spent hours ;
