Very well stocked store, very helpful staff and great prices. Ample off road and disabled parking too. Great place to go for good deals on rain coats for the kids etc!
Happy with the item I received, but the service was terrible. I was unable to get through to the branch by phone to ensure they held a product I ordered online for a bit longer. I called head office and they too getting get through to them. Was forced to travel to the branch, hoping the item would fit my car. Even when I was there, I made clear to the member of staff helping me that the phone was ringing while I was there and no one was answering it!
Great place to shop for outdoor activity clothing and equipment, whatever your pursuit is. Camping, cycling, horse riding, fishing and much more, all backed up by pleasant and helpful staff. Quality and prices are good too.
Came in to buy walking gear for an upcoming trip to Kilimanjaro. Tried to flag someone down a few times for help without much luck. We noticed all the prices in store are more expensive than the Go Outdoors website. My partner has Crohn’s Disease and asked a member of staff if he could use their bathroom and was advised no. He literally had to run to a neighbour store and they allowed him to use their staff toilet. He carry’s a badge advising he’s unable to wait, I appreciate If you don’t have customer toilets but exception should be made for those with disabilities. Overall a disappointing visit, we left with only a handful of items. Will go to one of your competitors for our gear
Uninterested staff. Lots of stock. Looking for walking boots. Website Said they were available at store. Staff said they didn’t have them. No socks available to try on walking boots. Poor when they actually have hundreds of pairs on display
Karen in the fishing area very helpful and new her products so good your tills are always slow and every time I'm there seem to have issues ticket prices not matching the till prices
Vast collection of walking, cycling, fishing, climbing and camping clothing and equipment. Tent exhibition outside and car parking. Staff very helpful and friendly. Prices are on the top end though unless you take advantage of sale items and even then, compare to others. Also you have to pay £5 for a year's membership to get a special discount off everything. Worth it if you're buying a big ticket item or intend to make several purchases over a year.
Really good store. Huge selection of outdoor and sports stuff - I could spend hours just browsing. There is a nice outdoor area where they showcase a huge range of tents and inside is massive with areas of the store broken down into different sports e.g climbing, riding, fishing, biking and obviously hiking boots and clothing. The staff are always very helpful. To get the best prices you need to have a membership card which costs £5 a year - it's worth it if you shop here - but you can find equal or better pricing online... But that's not as much fun as coming here for a browse around.
Everything outdoors you could possibly want. Discount card well worth it. Cheap tents well worth it for an easy job but they've got the whole range depending on what size you need.
If you go camping, hiking , mountaineering or just mucking about in the countryside then this is the place for you. A massive range of products from tents to bbqs, to camping tables and walking shoes and boots, and just about everything in between. If it's a tent your looking for, they have their full range outside on astro turf, already assembled, so you can see what your buying and try it for size. It takes the guess work out of the equation, so that you go home with the one that's right for you. We needed some help with our purchase and found the staff to be very helpful. would recommend. ps if you find this review helpful, please give it a
