Lovely place to visit, the old steam train are really nice to See, just a shame you don't see them in our area, they sound great and I think children would love them.

Perfectly restored station on the Llangollen line. Look for all the attention to detail in the lovingly maintained handcarts, flower displays and buildings. Little cameo stories everywhere - the antique bicycle chained to the fence, the cart of milk churns waiting for the goods train. Nothing much to do nearby, but the station itself is worth a look -- don't miss the train when it leaves, though!

Had a great weeks stay here with the family. Would definitely recommend it to anyone who likes peace and quiet with lovely scenery
