Called for lunch today as a party of four. Food was delicious and very accommodating for my dietry requirements. Served by a lovely, funny, sassy lady who couldn't do enough for us. A delightful lunch with friendly, welcoming staff. Currently matching its opening days to visitor numbers, so check that the pub is open before travelling. We shall be back, following this enjoyable lunch after a day-trip to Llangollen. In early October 2022. Food & drinks: A good range, professionally served. Noteworthy details: Easy access to/from the car park as you pass on the road.
We had a roast beef lunch. Plenty of meat, huge Yorkshire pudding and plentiful vegetables. Good selection of desserts, sadly too ful to try any. Situated on the Horseshoe Pass, Llangollen. Stunning views.Service: 5/5

Great staff, luckily came here when it was 27c, so beautiful in the garden. Had 3 starters and all were lovely, washed down with a couple of pints of Thatchers, iced cold. Wicked country pub with sea view. Can’t book garden tables, inside only, but come down and you can order from your table. Would recommend.Rooms: 5/5
Stopped here for lunch on a day out. Limited opening hours at the moment but the food selection was good. Pleasant surroundings and washroom was immaculate. Worth a visit and we will be back.Service: 5/5
Always wonderful food and great local feel, the staff are always friendly and make the experience of eating out enjoyable. The Sunday Roast was incredible... well worth a visit, beautiful views, locally sourced food... Make sure you to book before hand.Rooms: 4/5
