Service and food has been questionable in the past at the The Globe, but at lunch today the service was good and the food was very nice. I had the rib beef which was very tender, and the trimmings were very tasty. Extra custard with the apple crumble pie was also good. The kids enjoyed their chicken nuggets and chips, although the larger kids portion was served on the same size plate as the smaller portion so it meant more nuggets and less chips, overall size appeared similar. Will consider returning if standards remain this good or better.

Lovely canal side pub, great selection of beer and other drinks. Food menu has a wide variety of dishes and prices. Friendly staff, who will always great you with a warm welcome. Management have dramatically improved the business over the past few months. Look forward to visiting again and again. Well worth taking a trip to this pub. Definitely recommend this to all my friends. Thumbs up.

It's on my list of most favourite bars/Inns. Great quality food, lovely atmosphere, great place in the summer, staff is top notch. Highly recommend. My only issue is that I live in North Milton Keynes, so it's a bit of a drive. But still worth it.

Canal side pub. Access to car park seems to be a bit strange, you drive along the tow path!! Great atmosphere with friendly staff. Dog friendly too!! 🐶

Fantastic country pub right by the canal. Good selection of ales & a great menu. Drinks & food all very good. Service very friendly.
