Easily spent an hour plus here looking at all the memorabilia. Just learning of Glenn's story and demise was interesting enough but lots more to do plus coffee n cake!Visited onPublic holidayWait timeNo waitReservation recommendedNo
This small but very interesting museum is well worth a little of your time if you're in the area. Located at Twinwood where Glenn was last seen alive and with his music playing in the background, we found it moving and informative and will no doubt return when next at the festival that started out to honour the great man.
Apparently this is not an official website. Turned up this morning, museum shut. Telephoned museum number only to be told.that the Correct website is owned by Twinwoods Festival. Not at all helpful on the phone. Wil not be attempting to return despite being a Glenn Miller fan. When look for Twinwoods festival website, there is no mention of the Glen Miller Museum?

Wonderful place to visit. Good to know that there are dedicated ladies and gents which demonstrate an amazing passion in preserving our history. It’s by far the best aviation museum I have come across in recent years with its atmospheric undertones and living history 1940 themes. Open from May to late September and not to mention the Twinwoods annual summer festivities every August bank holiday!....For those who love camping and dressing up in their 1940’s militarily costumes all enjoying the vintage music, dance and fashion. Well worth a visit.
A wonderful museum bringing history to life. Packed with loads of artefacts, something to interest all ages. A MUST see for every visitor to the area and local resident alike. Staffed by a small team of dedicated volunteers who need help and support. First class attraction very reasonably priced with a warm, friendly welcome plus excellent coffee, what more could you want?!
