This falls under a more quirky National Trust compared to a stately house or formal garden. We really loved it. There were guides when we went who were welcoming, knowledgeable and helpful. Great information boards and horseshoe collection in the stables. Great there were actual horses in the next field over. 🐎 Lots of parking. 🚘 Dovecote had great atmosphere. It's not open many times per year so check app before visiting. Would recommend a visit.

Not your usual NT establishment but holds some interesting local history nonetheless. Not somewhere you would probably visit more than once, but it's definitely worth spending an hour in just to say you've been there and learned something new.

Hard to rate as it was closed for the season during my visit, so we couldn't enter the building. The surrounding area was nice but very limited. Or I just wasn't aware of any parks or walk ways. Need to go back after April and update my review afterwards.
