This is a church designed by Andrew Black, a teacher of CRM, and dates from mid 1920s. The current congregation moved to here from the Greek Thomson masterpiece, which is situated on the corner of St Vincent St and Pitt Street. So many of the photos and descriptions on here relate to that building in city centre. Something to note if you are not familiar with city and wander down to Partick to see the Greek Thomson !
A Bible centred church where the love of Jesus Christ is clearly expressed and preached within the fellowship. Great place to worship God, Holy, Holy, Holy.
Survivor Church by Alexander Greek Thompson, open to public on Tuesdays lunchtime. Very friendly and welcoming people.
Such a beautiful building if you appreciate this sort of scenery.
I worshipped here on Sunday morning, 8th August 2021. Booking in due to covid was very straightforward. The pastor was on holiday but we had what I assume was an elder preach. We sang two hymns and two Psalms. The sermon was on the Great Commission and was 40 minutes long. It was an excellent service and the people are very friendly. Highly recommended, I will be back very soon!
Listened to the minister this morning and tonight in Stornoway high free church and Friday night and Saturday morning too!! . Four absolutely blinding services! Spoke to my heart with each one. Thank you Alex! A true servant of God!! Keep on keeping on buddy! :-D and as promised at the fellowship. . I will remember you in prayer!
A lovely hall at the back that was warm and welcoming even on the driechest of days!
Great building. Needs some serious repairs though
Beautiful building and very friendly people inside.
