This restaurant is the best Japanese in London. The food is delicious and the service is excellent! The ingredients are of the best quality and they have a good variety of dishes to choose from. The service is prompt, each dish is carefully explained and the atmosphere is elegant and classy. I recommend visiting it if you happen to be around.
Afternoon tea with red letter day voucher. We were warmly greeted and taken to our table where we were made very welcomed and were given the afternoon tea menu. Our waitress Veronika showed us the selection explaining origin and flavours and was very attentive. The food was freshly prepared and delicious. It was all very fresh, flavoursome and also lovely presented. The afternoon tea ended with matcha tea presented at the table. What we also greatly appreciated was that we were told at the end, when I asked whether there was anything to pay, that service charge is payable only if we choose to do so. Of course we paid as we felt that the service charge was well deserved by everyone, especially Veronika. It’s refreshing that it was presented as an option as most places we have been to insist and sometimes the service, especially when using a voucher can be lacking. Not here! We loved every minute and will be back.
A piece of Japan in London. I love teppanyaki, and you can try it here. Go for the set menu to get the full experience; you won’t be disappointed. I also recommend the strawberry mochi for dessert.Food: 5/5
Absolutely fantastic experience. My partner and I were very well taken care of during our dinner and the food was excellent! Kudos to Madalina and the rest of the staff for doing such a great job delivering such a refined experience.
That’s okay. The BBQ and show are with nice and interesting! But the sushi is normal, which not like this principle.? But 120 set menu if include fried rice will be better! But I like the show! And service is good. I like the wagyu beef and grilled scallopFood: 4/5
Chef is really kind, however I can’t say the same for receptionist. There is no proper seating arrangement according to the booking, teppanyaki bookings were on the corner away from county and sushi etc bookings were just side by teppanyaki counter. Food quality is lower than expected, especially comparing to its price it’s not difficult to say below average. Other than beef rest is without special taste.
Amazing night! I decided to go to Ginza for my birthday, I had a beautiful night with great food! Very tasty and cooked at perfection ! Everything was perfect. The fish was so fresh and the was wagyu melting in my mouth! I absolutely recommend Ginza! And thanks to all the staff who made the evening special! See you soon!Food: 5/5
Some of the food was really okay, but we got the more premium set and the steak was frankly leagues away from their stock photos. I had a pretty small appetite that evening, but still left hungry. One of my worst experiences of Japanese food in London out of at least fifty restaurants; hopefully they just had an off day.Food: 1/5
The afternoon tea was outstanding. Excellent and varied offering — with no corners cut. Service was impeccable. Thank you to the team!Food: 5/5
Overall a lovely dinner with a few stand out dishes such as the lobster tempura absolutely delicious, tuna tartare, Ginza maki and surprisingly the side of egg fried rice. Some of the dishes could have been executed better, some minor reflections ; the edamame being soggy, chicken karaage not being accompanied by a sauce and the prawn tempura maki being tasteless. Nevertheless, I really appreciated the friendly and jovial manner from the waiters and managers who were attentive. The restaurant and bar upstairs also looked sleek and stylish so a perfect place for a date or birthday.
