Classy indoors restaurant in Marriott hotel overlooking river Thames and Parliament. The food was great The grill selection was excellent as well as the quality of the meat. There was the option of a fish course too.
 There is a cozy lounge bar for drinks with big windows next to the restaurant. Service was very good professional and quick.

Third visit to Gillrays and so different to previous ones. The service was slow and elements of the food were cold. A signature "Steakhouse"  should not send out a steak cold. It was quite quiet as we were dining early in the  evening, so there was no excuse. The waiter couldn't  clearly explain what was in a dish when asked twice, (he spoke very poor English)..  We were given a "special" sweet for our "anniversary", but it wasn't our anniversary and we don't request it.  Upon paying the bill, we received no apology, or discount, only a 20% off card for our next visit. Why would we want another visit, after such a poor experience!?  So disappointed, will never go back.

Lovely venue on looking the Thames. A wide selection of beverages available for those who like variety. Sat for a three course menu. Steaks, sauces and sides are impeccable. Would go again.

Me and my partner had a wonder experience at Gillrays. The location is amazing, with a wonderful view of the Thames from our table and the hotel it self is lovely. Our waiter was wonderful and very attentive, it made the evening very special.

Now for the food. To start I had the soup of the day which was butternut squash and to my surprise it came with a slice of cheese in the bowl before the soup was poured, it was a good soup. For main I had the steak(medium) and it was wonderful, boasting incredible flavors as you might expect from a rib-eye cut, but I would honestly say this was one of the best rib-eyes I've ever had. For desert I had the chocolate mousse, which was average but you would expect the main attraction of a 'steakhouse' to be the beef and I was not disappointed.

Overall a wonderful place, will certainly find the time to visit again.

Had a table booked for 1pm on a January Friday, and we were the only ones in the restaurant until we left at around 2:30, so very quiet.  Service was okay and food was nice.  Good location with nice view of the river and the London Eye.
