We had an amazing time again at Giggling Squid. Mimi welcomed us and took care of our order. The Thai hospitality and culture is great. The food as always is great. We feel so lucky to have Giggling Squid nearby. It’s a fantastic place. Beyond the hospitality, the food and service, the deco is fab too! Thanks to the whole team - extending to the chefs in the kitchen, even if we don’t really see you, we really appreciate You!
Excellent Thai restaurant that is modern in style and has unique and delicious dishes you won't find anywhere else. Service was quick and efficient. Leave room for dessert as they are excellent too, with unique flavours that have to be tried. Recommended.
The restaurant has lovely decor. We ordered set royal lunch and prawn pinapple fried rice. They were flavourful and nice.nPandan cake and mago cake were also nice. We waited quite long for our order even though it was still early and quiet.nOverall nice food and we enjoyed it, hope the food come out quicker next time
We decided to treat ourselves to a day off work and lunch out and had been recommended to try the Giggling Squid. We weren’t disappointed. I always have the same dish when I go for a Thai meal, so the set plates were a great opportunity for me to try something new! We also ordered the honey duck as an extra dish and it was delicious. I treated myself to a virgin mojito too which was lovely.nThe staff were very fast without making us feel hurried. We can’t wait to go back.
This is the first time my partner and I had gone out for a date night since our first child was born last summer. The food was excellent, truly excellent. We were having a lovely time.nHalfway through our meal, a group of 12 raucous lads came in for dinner service and the atmosphere changed, not for the better.nSuddenly after 1 hour and 45 minutes of taking a seat at our table for a 3 course meal, we were presented with the bill and told we need to hurry up as the next dinner service was waiting... Way to go to spoil an evening Giggling Squid. Food good, waiting staff green shirts attentive, everything else disappointing.
