Booked a table online for a birthday celebration, which was very useful as it was a suprise. Very nice relaxed place, stuff were attentive and pleasant. The service was a little bit slow, but we were a table of 12 on a busy Sunday so not as bad as it could have been. The food was very well presented, roast dinners where a good size, and they accommodated for a vegetarian roast dinner (all the best bits). Comments form the meat eaters said they didn't need the extra 'mini Shepard pie' with the lamb dish.. and the beef 'mini cottage pie' didn't get served but wasn't needed anyway, there was plenty of food. 
Cocktails very very nice.. and different from the normal things you would expect. not to mention the 241 offer we took full advantage of. 
Would recommend, and defiantly go again.

We had a wonderful evening here last night celebrating my birthday. The atmosphere was great, the food amazing and we were warmly served by the delightful Thea who was friendly, polite and professional throughout.  I would have awarded 5 stars were it not for the fact that half our party wanted to end the night with cheese and biscuits and we were told they had sold out! On a Saturday night! Didn't spoil the night though and will definitely be back. The fillet steak was incredible

Much improved over the last year. Shame it gets cluttered by yoga mums and kids at times but it still rocks my boat.Good service at the bar and reasonably priced fine food. Worth a try.

Have been here quite a few times, although admittedly, not recently. We were both very disappointed with our meals. I had steak and chips and the chips were heated up (not re-fried) and rather sad. My friend had the haddock and found it tasteless and flaccid. Such a shame as have alsways enjoyed it in the past.
