We went here for my son's 14th birthday as a party of 12, 4 of those were children. We waited over 20 minutes to be served and a further 25 minutes for food. When the food did arrive it was only for 4 of the diners and 2 of the meals were cold which we returned. When the other meals arrived they were either burnt or of poor standard. To top the meal off I found plastic in my pie which I was told was from a basting brush! We did complain throughout the whole evening and the waiting staff did their best, but it really was a shambles from beginning to end. The children were hungry and tired and the adults disappointed. We informed them we were not to pay and left. A real shame. We will not return and hope the restaurant looks at the internal issues that caused this terrible night Thank you for the response. I did state we did not get charged, however this was at our request and not as a consideration of an offer. I do hope that you are able to rectify issues to prevent this happening again and wish your business success

It was appalling. We have severe allergies and called up in advance. They reassured us that everything would be fine. We ended up waiting 2 hours, and they finally confessed that they could not do the food and it went wrong. Considering the food was literally only plain chips was concerning. They brought out soggy undercooked potatoes which were not even in the shape of any type of chip!!!! The setting was extremely unprofessional and unpleasant due to the attitude of the very few staff they have and the manager had very bad attitude. At the end of our very unenjoyable visit, they forgot to take the deposit off our bill so it was much more than expected. It basically could not get any worse. In response to your comments below your manager (I believe his name is James), took down incorrect information. The information given to him was that a number of the kids have severe allergies to diary and nuts. His reposnse was that they can cater for this. He clearly doesn’t understand the differences with intolerances and allergies. A restaurant manager and chef should always understand the differences. Furthermore your comment about you going the further mile is quite ridiculous as we waited over 2 hours for chips which were soggy. If you had a competent chef I am sure he wouldnt take over 2 hours to make some chips in a pan fryer.

We had a wonderful lunch here, excellent food, very friendly staff. A very modern on trend restaurant.

Wonderful, friendly and thoughtful staff. Food is good but not 5 star. Atmosphere lovely and decor great.

Delicious brunch & friends also had the Sunday roasts. Nothing was too much trouble. Excellent
