Lovely little park for a short stroll in to take the children. Lots of play equipment and a stream that meanders through. Toilets are also available. Parking along the edge is possible.
This is a beautifully kept park, with amazing trees and flowers. The whole park is a war memorial, but the WW1 war memorial at the eastern end of the park is the only informative war memorial I have ever seen. Play facilities are really good too.
The dogs love it. The exercise equipment adds an extra dimension.nDrainage on the lower field is poor, so stick to the paths unless you have wellies, after rain.
