Gelsmoor never disappoints when you visit and me and my partner always have an amazing meal. Staff are polite and attentive, food is reasonably priced and the pizzas are brilliant. Well worth a visit if you’re in the area.
Always an absolutely fabulous experience. Server was efficient and fast, food was perfect. This picture is the filet steak on stone with skinny fries and peppercorn sauce and it was delicious. Recommend the blue moon beer to accompany. Environment was clean and quiet. Parking nice and easy.
An excellent restaurant serving high-quality food and drink with a great atmosphere and excellent service. We went for a meal for four people and right from the start we experienced excellent and attentive service. The food is of excellent quality. I had a steak on a hot lava rock. A novel way of cooking steak but it allows you to try your steak rare or well done... you decide. I also had a side salad that was, fresh and crisp with a lovely light dressing. A great atmosphere in lovely surroundings and at times the large TV's display a roaring fire which adds to the cosy feel. An excellent meal. Parking: Plenty of free parking is available but you may find it a little more difficult at busy peak times.
Really good.. Not too many restaurant options în the area however this restaurant is higher than average. The food came fast, the personnel was verry polite and friendly, prices not to high. The music equipments and sound qualitySonos convinced me come again here în the next day. The food is good but not remarkable. Overall:Pleasant and friendly atmosfere, clean, served fast, sufficient parking places..why not come again: ?
Yes they serve spam fritters,yes their steaks are really good and so are their deserts, professional staff and it's a must experience steakhouse.Food: 5/5
1st time here and we loved it food was great with a good service too. I had the ribeye steak on the stone to cook myself it was delicious and I loved it my wife had fish burger. Absolutely amazing I can still taste it writing this. Looking forward to returning soon xFood: 5/5
Really nice decor inside. Some great options on the menu, our table liked the novelty of the cook your own steak/halloumi/duck options, but did get a little bit smokey. Good portions and staff were friendly and polite. Our table was booked for 5pm so the atmosphere started to get better towards the end of our meal as more diners arrived. Parking: Reasonable parking - not sure if would have struggled for parking if we'd eaten here later into the evening.
I’ll start by saying that it was the best steak I’ve ever had by far. I had the chef cook a ribeye I think, rather than do it myself on the stone and it was amazing. Partners fish was great too and really crispy. Place can get a little Smokey with all the stones off at once but food was fantastic
Great place, absolutely excellent food, professional service, very clean. My son chose to go here on his birthday. The pub came recommended from his work colleague and it didn't disappoint. Let me start by saying that cooking my own steak was a complete novelty to me and it did feel a bit of a faff, although I soon got the hang of it - even though by the time I got to the last bites it was more than well-cooked - more like cremated! The food was served fast, despite it being busy and so close to Christmas. Also, the pub was cosy and warm which I really appreciated. I will definitely come back on a special occasion, it's a real gem.
