Gaucho Manchester is a majestic, multi-level restaurant and cocktail bar set inside an old Methodist church.

With the original organ at the helm, this is a venue steeped in history. From the open kitchen to the Art Deco glass panelled ceiling, it’s a feast for the eyes as well as the tastebuds.

Pull up a pew on the stage area and enjoy the sight of glittering chandeliers, or try the mezzanine for a bird’s eye view of the kitchen. After you’ve eaten, soak up the atmosphere with a drink in the relaxed bar area.

Still an amazing place to get steak. Beautiful cuts of meat and an amazing wine menu. We went late on a Saturday night and the music wasn't quite to my tastes! And they turn over tables at an incredible speed, we sat next to about four different couples! We weren't rushed though. Tables are very close together now, so the atmosphere isn't that relaxed when busy.
Impeccable service from entering the door to leaving, exactly what you would expect from a restaurant like this. Staff are prepared to go above and beyond to make sure you have a great experience. Steak was also fantastic and the spinach was to die for. Looks small from the outside but you'll get a surprise when taken to your table! If being picky it was quite loud inside but each to their own for that, will definitely be back. 6 stars.
I came here with my friends and I’m so impressed! The customer service was great and the food was amazing. As we were a group of 5 we ordered quite a lot of things and shared it to have space and WOW the food exceeded my expectations. The quality of the food is definitely worth the price.
I have had steak countless times but the one I had today was excellent and in fact perfect!!!! Georgia I don’t know if the spelling of her name is correct served us. She took her time to help us make our choices. You can also choose the size of the steak you want. Bread was served before the main course, it was so hot and delicious, I had to request for some takeaway . The restaurant is so beautiful, I love the aesthetics . I had a really great time. I could not finish my dessert, I was too full. It’s a bit pricey but it’s worth it.
Loved our experience at Gaucho. Some items were not photographed as it was all gobbled up too quickly! Place is lovely and the service excellent. Honestly, customer service is top notch; our waiter was very helpful, welcoming and friendly. We had the fillet and another type of steak recommended by staff. We got a side of truffle mac & cheese, chips, and rocket salad which were all very delicious. The cheesecake dessert was the best we ever tried & the brownie was average to be honest. Theres a lovely selection of drinks that is inclusive of those who do not prefer alcohol as well. It was a fantastic experience & we will definitely be coming again.
Had diner here on Friday night; stunning environment, friendly excellent staff and the food was astonishingly good. The bill worked out at c.£100 per head but that included aperitifs, a bottle of wine plus coffees for 3 of us. Would highly recommend.
5/5 for service 5/5 for ambience 4/5 for mocktail drinks 3/5 for steaks 3/5 for pricing: This rib eye has not pretty rich fats on it, kinda more like a sirloin and tenderness could be improved. But tastes are good though. Overall very friendly and warm service. Steak could be improved.
Just WOW!!! This place is absolutely amazing. From the atmosphere the staff and the food. It was absolutely amazing. The woman looking after us was really friendly and gave us recommendations that didn't disappoint. The food was something else. I've never had a steak like it. Definitely worth a visit if you're near. I'd highly recommend booking a table.
Great restaurant with a very pleasant environment and great food. My steak was cooked to perfection, and the side dishes were also delicious. There are not many places you can enjoy a good steak at a good price. Highly recommended!Food: 5/5
Been here a few times service and food is always on point and secure parking round the corner from the venue. This occasion we sat in the private area, the dining table is located behind glass doors and windows where the wines are stored beautiful setup, its not isolating either as you can see out onto the dining floor. I was worried as I thought the waiter may forget to check up on us as we we're out of sight; so to speak, but he was so attentive. The food was beautiful and cooked to perfection, only issue with food was the mushrooms, as a side dish you'd expect a small bowl but we received literally two mushrooms white plate however they were really tasty, I'd order them again. 5 out of 5 highly recommend.
