Wow what a fantastic Experience that I had visiting yesterday. I was so overwhelmed with the concept of all the hard work that's gone in to it making a successful place. The restaurant I found fabulous with the fact you can order from the menu using your mobile phone and you just wait for the food to arrive by your hard working waitress service % thank you to for making my day thats to all the staff and chef, Management who made this Garden center a Success..
Christmas time is the best time to visit Gates. Their collection of Christmas ornaments and decorations is second to none. Yes, they have much, much more than just garden stuff. Too much to mention, so I took pics. It really is a grand day out visiting here. Highly recommend coming here.
Absolutely lovely place to visit and I definitely would recommend. They sell a whole selection of toys and home wares not just plants. A few of the brands like Joules, Yankee Candle and more. They have their Christmas stock out at the moment and that's lovely!
Visited one hour before closing on a Sunday, it was still very busy. They had made a lot of effort decorating for Christmas. Plenty to look at, both for Christmas and generally. There is a restaurant and cafe. They have a well stocked farm shop selling quality goods. Enjoyed our visit.
Massive place, one of the best garden centres I've been to. Do note, dogs are NOT allowed inside. Toilets here. Disabled parking. 2 eating places there, one smaller cafe and one restaurant. Massive selection of plants, outdoor stuff, indoor stuff, candles. Footwear, 2 clothes shops, a farm shop and a toy section. Basically there are shops within the inside.! And if you love home decor, you need to pay this one a visit, trust me !! Pet store too. Huge car park. Dog walking area one end of car park. If you need a garden centre this is the one for you. Something to look at for everyone. Plenty of staff so service is quick. Recommended.
Lovely shop and garden centre, so much choice!!! Was on our doorstep whilst on holiday, so we visited twice. Bought some gifts to take home.
Gates garden center was great for a day out. We got there for 9:30 and started with a coffee in the coffee shop at the top of the hill. We worked our way down through the shops and garden center and had lunch in the restaurant, the food and service was good, a little slow due to how busy it was but non the less good was good when it arrived.
Absolutely beautiful place. The best decorative Christmas shop around. We came from Pevensey bay east Sussex. Visiting family
I called in on Tuesday 26th April 2022, wanting to buy a certain BBQ, but they had sold out, much to my disappointment. I met Jack one of the shop floor managers who was absolutely brilliant. Jack introduced me to the Classic Joe 11, gave me a complete overview of this BBQ. They delivered it promptly the next day, the delivery team were also excellent, they assembled the BBQ within an hour and much to my delight, I was cooking an hour later. Thank you so much. P G.
Visited for the Christmas experience with my granddaughter. Amazing!!! So many beautifully dressed trees and decorations. Had a lovely lunch in the restaurant. Friendly helpful staff.
