Story

Gastronhome is a winner of the Trip advisor awards of excellence 2015-2016
Winner of the open table dinners choice 2015-2016.

Based in the heart of Clapham on Lavender Hill, Gastronhome offers the finest French cuisine and wines served in a homely environment.

We propose a popular five course tasting menu with matching wines, as well as a la carte options. Gastronhome boasts, amongst other things, an open plan kitchen, large tables, comfortable seats, as well as a an open terrace for those who choose to be seated in the open air!

We're are very excited to be a part of this charming neighbourhood and can't wait to share our passion for delicious cuisine, delectable wines and the art of hosting.

The food is very tasty with superb presentation. Seasonal menu. Excellent service. However dishes seemed to take quite a while to come 2.5 hours for 3 courses for 2 people. Reservation recommended.
Superb fixed course in the week. Three courses were for £29 and well worth it. A great start with a light savoury amuse bouche followed up with a light flavourful parmesan cheese bread. The chicken liver parfait was perfectly balanced with the light sweetness of the reduction. The mains Brill and lamb shoulder were fantastic. But the dessert see images was outstanding. Great food, fantastic value, in the heart of Battersea. Go there. Enjoy.
Amazing food and service. Surprise menu is awesome! We go there often and ever is a different experience. Perfect place for a romantic dinner or friends meeting in a quiet environment
Excellent restaurant. We ordered the five-course surprise menu and everything was wonderful. Very original and well cooked food, the presentation of meticulously maintained course. Also we ordered the wine that the maitre recommended for each dish, and also was wonderful. As for the restaurant, it's not a big place, but it is perfect for dinner with partner or friends. everything was new and very well maintained. The service from the waiters was very good, very friendly and attentive to all at all times. The price is very good for the kind of restaurant it is, the quality of food and service. I 100% recommend this restaurant, I will be back soon
We have eaten here 3 times and love it! It has a charming ambience. The food is simply outstanding. The wine list has a great selection of wines from small but excellent French producers. To top it off the service is 5 star. Well worth a try!
We went for the tasting menu, which is a beautiful mixture of truly well-thought-out food that is enough to be filling whole also not SO indulgent that you can't justify it on a weekday and gorgeous wines. But, most of all, the service is fantastic, the staff all truly committed to & passionate about food & drink. A memorable experience, thoroughly recommended.
Great service and good food. Two cocktails and two of the 5 course meals with the wine pairings is a little too pricey 225 pounds for the quality of the food and service, but the meal was very enjoyable. There was a live musician with a beautiful voice singing French songs when I was there, which is why I'm giving 4 instead of 3 stars. If the cost was a little less or the quality of the food was better - I wasn't too impressed with most of the dishes - I'd have given them 5 stars.
This was a lovely restaurant with fantastic food and excellent service. We decided to go for the five course taster menu, and weren’t disappointed. Each dish was accompanied by a specific wine which complemented the excellent food, and this was explained fully by the waiter. The atmosphere in the restaurant was very good - the staff were friendly and helpful, and there was no feeling of being rushed - the time between courses was sufficient to allow for digestion but yet was not too long. Would definitely recommend for an excellent evening out.
Lovely dinner here with a friend. Highly recommend it Came here based on the recommendation of my brother, as to be honest i would have not otherwise given it a second glance. That would have been a mistake. Anyone who is prepared to serve up pork like they did deserve 5*. Really on point. Lovely staff, very knowledgeable about the food they serve and the wine they pour. Happily go back again
Seriously can not say enough good things about them. The food was amazing and absolutely beautiful as well. The service was flawless and friendly. Get the 5 course tasting menu and the wine pairing - you will not regret it.
